Cocktail name :

  Absolut Affection 

Recipe :

Absolut vodka - 60 ml 

Coconut toddy - 30 ml 

Cow Milk -15 ml 

Direction :

 * Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker along with ice cubes.

 * Then shake and pour into a chilled Goblet glass.

Garnish :

 

  Tender coconut pulp

Coconut toddy alcoholic ;

  Toddy is an alcoholic drink made by the fermentation of the flower sap from a coconut palm (Cocus neusifera). It is white and sweet with a characteristic flavour and contains between 4 and 6% alcohol. Toddy has a short shelf life of about 24 hours, which can be extended if it is refrigerated

Toddy taste ;

  It is a cloudy, whitish beverage with a sweet alcoholic taste and a very short shelf life of only one day. The wine is consumed in a variety of flavours varying from sweet unfermented to sour, fermented and vinegary.

Absolut affection :

  I come from a place where coconut trees are abundant. Nowadays climbing coconut trees are done with assistance mechanical equipment. But in olden days people had to manually climb the trees which are 70 to 80 ft tall which requires skill and involves risk. My ancestor use to tap toddy( coconut palm wine) by cutting the shoots of coconut tree and by collecting the sap from the shoot by inverting a earthen pot on it. Climbing multiple trees that tall is a tiring task and wen I used to climb, my mom fed us milk as a source of energy. Considering it's a risky job and injuries could be fatal, moms will pray for the climbers safebeing. The affection and mom's love kept me out of fear and their prayers kept me safe I believe. In this cocktail I'm using milk and toddy as ingredients which gave me the strength to work and earned my family a living.
